Pennington by Henry Spiers {Book Review}

Pennington is a different type of murder story written around rape, love, lust, and a a sense of karma. The man known as Pennington, changes his life for the better, once bad things start happening to him. It takes a while to get the story rolling, as the book is quite long. It's build up could have been quicker, without such a lengthily development.

There are a large number of characters, with a great amount of dialogue between all of them. Everything is written with lots of detail, sometimes giving too much information, after going off on a tangent. I think it would be much more engaging if it was condensed just a bit.

The cover was a bit too plain to draw my attention towards it, it could definitely use something more eye appealing. Overall it was an entertaining read, and I would rate it at a 4/5.
