It almost seems as if this book could have been a prequel to the real series, because Kellie used the whole book setting the atmosphere, and introducing and building the characters. The plot to introduction ratio was off. I felt there was more introduction than plot to the whole book. But there was little description about Wonderland, which I don't know if the author intended for it to be this way so we use more imagination.
Don't even get me started on the ending. It ends so abruptly, I either needed just a bit more information or access to the next book. I'm assuming there is a next book just by the way the book ended. Regardless I got to the end of the book and felt like I was questioning myself on why I wasted all that time reading it. Honestly, there were parts that I re-read over and over again just because I couldn't comprehend what the author was trying to say. Sometimes I just gave up and went unknowing instead.
I'm really sorry this book wasn't all I thought it was going to be. I guess I would rate it at 2/5.
