Kalena More is a fifteen year old high school student with the every day average teenage issues. She loved talking on the phone, going to the mall, and crushing on boys. Things get a little complicated when she finds that she is pregnant with Isaiah's baby. Isaiah is a popular guy that happened to be Kalena's partner in Physical Education class.

Everyone treats Kalena differently now that she's pregnant. Which of course is normal in a teenage high school environment. No one knows how to relate to her problems or what they can do to help her.

Some of Kalena's behavior seemed a little off for what "normalcy" she seemed to have at home. What is the reason for her begging for attention and her immaturity? I think every character could have used some additional back story, and character building.  Then again, it seems the highlight to the book is the morals you learn.

Isaiah is completely ignoring Kalena and pretending the issue does not exist. It almost seems as if the author wanted us to hate him an his family. It worked, I found him to be selfish and a bit annoying. I was surprised when Kalena didn't feel as embarrassed by her baby-daddy's behavior.

This is a pretty good book for the average "teen pregnancy growing pains." The plot is basic, but the emotions are real. I give this book 4/5.
