Pinterest is a visual way to organize bookmarks from the web. You can use different boards to organize the bookmarks into different categories. Since every thing has a picture, it's easy to get lost for hours looking at yummy foods, great craft and organization ideas, humorous pictures, and style and fashion ideas. 

This is great for someone who might have a craft blog, you can post pictures of your products on Pinterest and once someone opens your picture they are re-routed to your blog to get more details. Now you have one more visitor on your page, and more of a potential customer or viewer. 

Just like any other social network, you can now link your Pinterest account to your Facebook, and Twitter accounts. This makes it even easier for you to share pins and boards with your friends on each social network.
