The Woman in Black by Rene Natan {Book Review}

The storyline is about an ex police agent being called into duty by the Chief Detective Conrad Tormez. Saving Thompson is assigned to work on a difficult case that's affecting the small town of Varlee. Her job is to impersonate a call girl and infiltrate the criminals that are terrorizing the citizens of their city.

This book is full of flashbacks and past incidents that eventually come around in the storyline, with great relevancy. It's flashbacks were better explained than most thrillers since some authors will throw them in with no intentions of bringing it up later, or explaining why the flashback was incorporated into the story in the first place.

Some things were explained much later in the book, but it increased the anticipation and made me excited to put the puzzle pieces together. I think it increases the readers desire to continue the book in shorter spurts of reading. Overall I would rate this book at a 5/5 and conclude that it was a very enjoyable read.
