Battle Scream

An ex-SEAL has become a minister of a small church, only to be haunted by demons living inside the church. He believes that he has been chosen by God to start a defense system against Satan himself. Gabriel, the archangel, gives him a flaming sword to aid him in his resistance against evil.

The plot sounds amazing, but I have to be honest and say I was quite disappointed with how the book turned out, I thought it would arouse more thoughts into the depths of religion and the military. Of course, the demons he fights as a minister represent the demons he fought on the battle fields during his time in the military, but other than that, there wasn't much depth to the book.

I am not particularly interested in books about religion, so I had thoughts to how the book was going to go. And I'm really not interested in books that go against the bible, because I do have my beliefs on God, and it seemed this book contradicted a lot of scripture.
