Lover Enshrined (Black Dagger Brotherhood Book 6) by J.R. Ward

After reading Lover Awakened (Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 3) I thought Zsadist was the misunderstood brother, especially the more misunderstood one between the twins. It seems like Zsadist is actually a lot more put together than you might think considering his past. Lover Unbound (Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 5) really takes you into the real problems in the brotherhood with Vishous and Phury.

Phury is the less understood twin. He has all his feelings buried beneath layers and layers of red smoke. Zsadist was always given leniency because his pain from his past was so raw and understood. It came as quite a shock when you start to really uncover whats under Phury's exterior. You would have never expected the less physically tortured twin to be more emotionally tortured on the inside.

This book shows a lot more behind the scenes on what's going on with John, Blay, and Qhuinn. Now, I don't want to spoil anything but what happens with the newest "lesser" leader is insane! I am dying to start on the next book but I have to pace myself.

J.R. Ward is so creative with her writing. I am slowly trying to pace myself throughout this series so as to not read them to fast and have to wait forever between books.

FAVORITE QUOTES FROM THE BOOK

"A moment later, the Focus's sewing-machine engine turned over, and they started down the driveway. In the dense silence of the shit box."

"But if you find yourself fighting an inner voice in your head all the time, then it's not where you're supposed to be. Being a good liar is not a virtue."

I give it 5 hearts!
