Dead on the Floor by Rocky Rochford {Book Review}

From the first two paragraphs, I knew I was going to like this short story. It intrigued and hooked me from the very beginning. It's written in a style that is enthralling and mysterious. You don't know where the writer is about to take you. I could say for sure, from reading the first page, I knew it was going to be a crazy ride.

I don't know if it is a good thing or a bad thing that I could completely relate to the character in the story, Matthew. "He was a troubled soul who bore not just psychological scars, but physical scars..." Matthew and I differ in one major way, I can only dream of possessing the abilities or powers he has.

Death defines not only Matthew, but this story as well.

"So much for going down fighting."

A great short story with amazing potential for a bestselling novel. I highly recommend this to anyone who has been intrigued by death. Absolutely a 5/5.

You Deserve Love by Mona M. Hanna {Review}

You Deserve Love: Inspirational Words to Encourage Self-Acceptance

This book had a lot of power in a small amount of pages. It wasn't very long, but it definitely will leave an impact on any reader who is interested in inspirational words to help you understand yourself and how to get through tough times in life.

"Life is what it is, It's more good than bad" It's quotes like these that are supposed to encourage people who feel their lies are too awful to continue on. It lets you know that life will never make sense, and it doesn't have to be good all the time. Life has its ups and downs and everyone just needs to accept their life as it is.

If you want your life to change, you need to do something about it, and stop feeling sorry for yourself.

It also helps you understand that sometimes it's not your fault, and the bad things that happen are not always your fault.

A short simple book that has a lot of powerful stuff behind it, will help many people out there. I give it 5/5.
