I killed my first victim at thirteen years old – my age, not his. He was going to rape me, him and a couple of his friends. And so, I killed him. And then… I killed again. And again.

Doesn't the synopsis just beg you to read the book? I know it did for me. I haven't read of many thirteen year olds who can say the've killed before. Cassie is a preacher's daughter, who is subjected to almost getting raped. It's this moment in her lie that changes everything including herself. She's no longer the sam person, and you can't blame her.

Deegan, an old friend, now becomes her friend, and her partner in crime as they kill people. Of course, there's a lot of drama between the two of them, and they have a very complicated relationship. Together they make up an awesome book. You have to pick it up and try it!
