I was over at Lisa Loves Literature and she's doing a Feature and Follow that I thought sounded fun. You should do it too. 

This book seemed to be a jumble of short stories of truth written from the author. I'm not sure what the reader is supposed to take away from this, but I'll fill you in on what I absorbed from the book. 

Have you ever felt like a ghost or that no one noticed you? You long to feel needed and want that reassurance and acknowledgment. You matter even if you feel you don't. If you believe your being ignored, you will only fade into the background. Become your own personal cheerleader and keep telling yourself how great you are.

Your mind is a very powerful tool and you can convince it of almost anything if you tell it enough times and try hard enough. It'll change your life. Repeating to yourself that you are an awesome person, eventually you'll start to feel more and more awesome. This will reflect in your mood, and on your views of life. 

Do everything you can to make yourself feel as good as possible, including doing for others. You'll be very surprised at the satisfaction you get from helping others. Ms. Leslie volunteered her time and she will share her story on her personal experience on the subject.

Although the message may have not been what the author wanted to portray to her readers, these are the things I took from the book. I'm glad I read the book, I found it to be informative on finding myself, as well as getting to know Ms. Bridgette Leslie. I gladly give this book 4/5
