My Favorite Corpse

Ashley loves her hotel business Skullduggery which overlooks the ocean cliffside. While catching fish from the ocean for her hotel's menu, she stumbles upon a dead body. Ashley runs for help and leaves a customer named Trevor, who everyone believes works for the government or possibly the mafia.

When the police finally arrive on scene, Trevor and the body are gone. Who could have possibly have moved the body, and why does Ashley keep seeing the body all over her property.

It's an interesting book, with an interesting twist of mysterious moving corpses. The book reminds me of a combination of Scooby-Doo and Nancy Drew mystery. A good title for this short story would be "The Case of the Disappearing Corpse." All you would have to do is switch out Trevor for the famous Ned in Nancy Drew.
